Hey Juniors here are your questions for the week....
1. A friend wants you to explore an old house that is being demolished. The sign says No Trespassing. Do you join your friend to explore the house?
2. Your teacher adds your test wrongly. She gives you five extra points by mistake. Do you tell her?
3. Some kids are visiting you. You notice that something small but valuable is missing from your house. Do you ask to search their stuff?
Let's try and get answers posted by Wednesday!

1. i tell my friend that we should go some where else because it is unsafe to enter the house.
ReplyDelete2. it all depends on if the 5 points let me pass or if after taking the points away it still passes. I believe that i would not tell the teacher because if they made a mistake i should be able to get some free points.
3. yea if there is something missing i will ask them if them seen it and if no one has tell them if they don't give the item back there will be repercussions.
1. Honestly if i know the house is being demolished i refuse to enter because if a house is being demolished there is probably a good reason to not go in. Like the risk of a collapse or death from unsafe conditions.
ReplyDelete2. I will ask her if there was something wrong with my test or if I had extra credit or if she just graded it wrong and if she takes away the extra points so be it.
3. to be honest i would search then call out one of my friends if i find it on them because i trust my friends like family and i would be very angry to a point of contention because besides theft i would be dealing with betrayal.
1.) I would either not tresspass or ask permission to see if it were safe to look around 2.) I would tell the teacher about the misrake and ask for ten points for being honest! 3.) I would have the kids check their belongings infront of me to see if there was any "mistake" Lauren Bartels
ReplyDelete1. If I am with a friend and they want me to explore a demolised place that has a sign that clearly states no tresspassing, i would not think twice about going in. I will leave as fast as i got there and pull my friend from there with me, i aint tryna get killed! There probably is a reason why anyone shouldnt go in there.
ReplyDelete2. If my teacher added points to my grade i wouldnt question it, if they gave it to me i would take it and say thank you!
3. If i trust people to come to my house and then i come to find out that something is gone, im going to make all of them help me search for it! Aint nobody finna walk up in my house and steal! And if i find that person, im going to raise hell! They would also never be invited back yo my place. Thank you. Brianna E. Dewornu
1. If i saw a beaten up house that is ready to be demolished, i wouldn't need a sign to tell me not to enter. To me that's scary, and crazy people probably did weird scary things in there. That's one of those situations that you would end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. So to answer your questions to if i would enter the building...absolutely not.
ReplyDelete2. Absolutely not! I wouldn't care if the the five points gave me a 70 or a 105. The points benefits me regardless. Whose fault is it that the teacher calculated wrong?
3. That's a hard one. I mean if their your friends you should be able to trust them, but then again, now a days you cant trust no one. Honestly i would just ask them to help me look, innocent until proven guilty.

1. No, i would not join my friend because that would be breaking the rules if the sign said no trespassing, and we could get into trouble.
ReplyDelete2. Yes, i would tell my teacher because it wouldn't be fair if i kept those five extra point that i did not deserve.
3. Yes, i would ask to search their stuff because you can't trust anyone, even your closest friends at times.

1. I would not join my friend because if the house is being demolished then it probably is unstable. There was also a sign trying to warn me to stay away so I would not follow my friend's footsteps. No house is worth my life.
ReplyDelete2. If I was in that position, I would not tell the teacher. The points benefited me without her noticing and even though those points were not deserved, I would still take them. Had the teacher taken off points when something was correct then I would have went up to her and have her put the correct answer and grade in because I would get more points.
3. If I was was in this position, I would have everyone open their bags emptied and them checked. If i didn't find anything on them, then they are innocent and are welcome to my house again. If I do find that valuable thing in their possession, I would take it back and they would not be welcomed into my house for a long time. We probably would not be friends anymore. Stealing is never right.
1. If a friend had asked me to do this I don't think I would because there is a reason there is a sigh saying Do Not Enter. I would not want to get in trouble or get hurt if something was to go wrong.
ReplyDelete2.If this had happened to me it all depends on how those extra points were helping me. If the points helped me from not failing I wouldn't tell her but if the points really didn't matter because I was passing with a good grade either way then I would tell he or she.
3. If I was in this situation I would ask my friends if they seen the item that was missing. I would see how each other them would act to see how the friend would act in the situation. Or I would ask them to empty their pockets and whatever to see if they had it and if they didn't I would apologize for thinking they would do something like that.
1.No because what if they demolish the house when I'm in it.
ReplyDelete2. No because I don't want to fail.
3. Yes because they are suspects.
1. No because you do not know what can be in there and trespassing is against the law. You can get in trouble for it.
ReplyDelete2. I would tell my teacher only because I wouldn't want a bad grade for her mistake. I would tell her in a calm and respectful manner.
3. I would just simply ask them if they seen it. You don't want to accuse your peers until you have more evidence.
1. I would not go with my friend into the house. The sign that says no trespassing is there for a reason. If i were to go into the house i would be breaking the law. I would also advise my friend not to go into the house. If the house is being demolished it is probably not safe to go in.
ReplyDelete2. I would tell the teacher. It would not be right to take extra points on a test that i did not deserve. It would feel wrong if i didnt tell the teacher that the grade was wrong. On top of telling the teacher some teachers will allow you to keep the grade for being honest with them and telling them.
3. I would ask to search my friends and their things. They would be considered suspects until either the thing is found or that they did not have it when i searched them. If one of them did have it though that would be a great disapointment to me because they have broken my trust and taken my things and for that the person would no longer be my friend.

1. I wouldn't go in the house because I don't know if it's safe or not to go in.
ReplyDelete2.If a teacher gave me 5 extra points by mistake I wouldn't tell them because it's not a big deal but 5 points could be enough to make me pass if i was failing.
3. I would see if theres anyway I can get more proof that they took it, then when I feel like they did it I'll ask them.
1. I would go with hem but only for a little while, seeing as it's not being demolished right that second. 2. I wouldn't tell the teacher because 5 points could be between me passing or failing. 3. I wouldn't blame them right away because you could have misplaced it so if would look for it
ReplyDelete1. No because the house is unsafe and probably has a good reason for it being demolished. 2. no i would not tell the teacher because 5 extra points could help me in the future. 3. i would ask anyone if they had saw it because they are your friends and you dont want to accuse them right away.
ReplyDelete1.) No because the house could be demolished at any moment without anyone knowing we were inside. 2.) I wouldn't tell the teacher because it would help my grade. If it were constantly, I would tell the teacher about the five points. 3.) I would ask because they are guilty until proven innocent
