Week 3...

1. You cut an old woman's grass. She gives you twice the amount you had agreed on. Do you ask her if she made a mistake?
2.A teacher tells you to apologize for tripping someone. You didn't do it but the teacher doesn't believe you. Do you apologize?

3. A stranger with an arm in a sling asks you to carry his groceries from his car to his house. Do you help?

  1. 1. If the old woman paid me twice the amount than I was supposed to be paid, I would notify her of the mistake simply because she is an elderly woman. I would feel bad for her. It probably wouldn't look good if I took the money if I had to mow the lawn again and she noticed.
    2. If I was in this situation, I would just apologize even if I didn't do it just to avoid the trouble. I would just let the situation go and act like it didn't happen.
    3. If the person was in a sling, I would help them carry the groceries to his house. If I was in his position then i would want someone to do the same.

  3. 1. i would honestly ask her if she made a mistake because i would feel really bad worse then anything i could imagine.
    2. I hate taking the blame for someone else's actions i wouldn't apologize until absolutely last opportunity unless a detention was brought up at that point it's not worth it.
    3. I would help i have no problem helping someone who is hurt because I've been hurt and to me not being able to carry my own groceries and asking for help does require some real pride swallowing and guts for some and i understand that so i would help

  4. 1. If she paid me more than the amount that we agreed on i would tell her immediately. I would feel horrible that i did that. Plus that's disrespectful, she is elderly, you have to show respect.
    2. It depends, if me not apologizing will result me in a detention i will just say im sorry to avoid that.
    3. Honestly no, i dont know him, he could be a murder and a pysho. If he could take his groceries from the store to his car, hes capable of taking them into his house. Also if he knew that he was going to have troubles why would he go by himself? Hes going to have to make do with his one arm.

  5. 1. I would ask her because she's old and she probably didn't realize that she gave me twice the amount i was originally supposed to have.It just wouldn't feel right knowing i did that to an elderly woman.
    2. No, i would not apologize because i would want to prove my point that i did not trip that person. It wouldn't be fair that i get in trouble for doing something i didn't do. The teacher can believe whatever they would like, but i will Not apologize.
    3. No offense, i love helping people but i wouldn't help because i don't know who that person is and anything could happen. I would just make up a lie and tell them i apologize but i can't because i have to be somewhere.

  6. 1. I take the money only if she knew what she was doing with her money. If she looked like a helpless old lady i would give the other half back.
    2. I would not apologize because I didn't trip the kid. If she doesn't believe me it is not my problem.
    3. I would help the guy because he is handicapped at the moment. If he tries to pull something sneaky I would be able to defend myself.

  7. 1. I would give the old lady back the extra money that she gave me, maybe next time she might give me more money for being honest.
    2. I would absolutely not apologize for something that I did not do, if i didnt trip the person and the teacher doesnt believe me then so be it. I still aint apologizin'.
    3. Im sorry but i would never in my life help a stranger to their own house. I gotta at least know the person, as for a stranger, i dont know their intentions and especially as a female, anytging could happen. The person could fake it just to do some sick thing. That guy should have went with someone, to the store in the first place.

  8. 1. If the old woman had paid me with more than what she was supposed to I won't tell her that she had mad a mistake.
    2. If this had happened I would still apologize because its not worth arguing with a teacher over something so little.
    3. If I was in this situation I would help the person but it depends about how I feel when I see them. If I feel uncomfortable and have a bad vibe when seeing the person I don't think I would because I don't know who the person is, but at the same time I would feel bad if I didn't help because I knew they are struggling.

  9. 1. I would akhe old womaen if she had a mistake. I would not want to take double of what was agreed upon from the woman. If she says that it is not a mistake i would thank her for the money and offer to cut her grass for less next time.
    2. I would apologize to satisfy the want of the teacher. Later though i would explain to the teacher that i did not trip the kid.
    3. I would help the stranger bring his groceries from his car to his house. I would not go into the house but rather only bring the groceries to their house door.

  10. 1) I would ask the woman if she made a mistake because it is not right to take advantage of people. 2) I would ask the teacher what I have done fir him or her not to believe me, then to be completlwy honest I would apologize to shut them up. 3) If I new the man of course I would. If I didn't then I would be more cautious for my own safely and ask my parents first. Lauren Barrels

  11. 1. If an elderly woman gave the twice the amount I was supposed to get I would tell her. I would feel bad for the woman because she's old.
    2. I would just apologize just so it doesn't become a bigger problem. but if she sent me to the office or something more serious I would just tell her after class or something that I didn't do anything.
    3. I would help the man carry his groceries but I would hurry and try to leave as fast as i can
